YANA Community High School

At the beginning of 2017, our partner CEP recommended transitioning our education program from a "student-based" to "school-based" approach. Convinced that more students would be supported using this approach, we dove in to their ambitious plan to start YANA Community High School in Nawanende village, Uganda. 

Currently in its eighth academic year, YANA currently has almost 300 students and 14 teachers, offering all four classes in secondary school 'O'-Levels in Uganda.
